Early Childhood Intervention Programs
CPI takes an individualized approach to develop a treatment plan that precisely fits the needs of the child and family both.
The Early Childhood Intervention Program provides families with the foundation needed to establish the fundamental skills essential to learning. The Interdisciplinary team collaborates on a broad range of programming options, to help ensure the successful generalization of acquired skills beyond the Center into the home, school, classroom, community, and beyond – preparing children for a lifetime of successful learning!
In this foundational program, all children are 1:1 within a small group setting. This maintains the necessary flexibility to address individualized goals and accommodate unique learning styles, while providing a consistent and positively reinforcing opportunity for children to apply learned skills with peers within a social setting.
Program Goals
All individuals participating in the Early Childhood Intervention Program have individualized goals in the model’s 6 domains. Each activity that a child participates in includes pre-planned opportunities which integrate each of the domains, providing continuous, comprehensive learning experiences.
- Skill acquisition in the following domains:Â Language and communication, Social emotional relationships, Sensory motor development, Adaptive daily living skills, and Cognitive functioning
- Proactive Behavior Management (in accordance with the C.P. V.A.L.U.E.S. protocol)
Inclusive Services
Recognizing the time restraints and financial challenges families face in building a comprehensive early intervention program for their child, CPI’s Interdisciplinary Intervention offers an all-inclusive model that makes fundamental services accessible and affordable to every family.
