Did someone say adventure? It’s time to start planning for Camp Le’ale’a 2010!
Camp Le’ale’a 2010
Adventurers experience a summer full of enrichment through this community-based summer camp offering experiential 1:1 and small group learning opportunities. From discovering friends beneath the depths of the wading pool to expanding upon established skills while embarking on a day long safari at the zoo, this specially designed camp pairs the excite- ment and fun of summer with an autism-friendly learning environment. This year’s adven- tures include visits to the Denver area’s favorite kid friendly attractions including swimming, the zoo, the aquarium, and a variety of other hands on community-based experiences.
Camp Le’ale’a welcomes children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and re- lated developmental delays, including Down’s Syndrome and Traumatic Brain Injury, ages 6 to 21. Our team of highly trained individuals provides one on one instruction and support to each camper, allowing for an individualized camp experience.
We’re offering two Camp Le’ale’a sessions this summer, held Mondays through Thursdays (either 8am to 3pm, 9am to 3pm, 8am to 5pm or 9am to 5pm):
Session One: June 7 to July 8, 2010
Session Two: July 19 to August 19, 2010
Tuition:
- One-on-one for individuals with Autism: $22.50 per hour, CES and SLS billed at Behavioral Line Staff rate.
- Three on one for individuals with PDD, NOS and Asperger’s $17.00 per hour, CES and SLS billed at Behavioral Line Staff rate.

Early Childhood Camp Le’ale’a 2010
Little ones experience a summer full of enrichment through this community-based summer camp offering experiential 1:1 learning opportunities in a small group setting. From dis- covering friends beneath the depths of the wading pool to expanding upon established skills while embarking on a day long safari at the zoo, this early childhood camp pairs the excitement and fun of summer with an autism-friendly learning environment.
This year’s adventures include visits to the Denver area’s favorite kid friendly attractions including swim- ming, the zoo, the aquarium, and a variety of other hands on community-based experiences.
Our Early Childhood Camp is held Fridays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This year’s dates include:
Session 1: June 4, 11, 18
Session 2: July 9, 16, 23
Session 3: August 6, 13, 20
Early Childhood Camp tuition is $45 per hour, billed at Senior Therapist Rate for HCBS-CWA and at Behavior Plan Specialist Rate for CES.
