Licensed Professional Counselor
Mike has a Master’s degree in counseling from Denver Seminary. Mike initially began working for Creative Perspectives, Inc. while in graduate school at which point he began to recognize his passion for working with kids and adults trying to make sense of life with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). His therapeutic focus lies in working in individual, family, and group based therapies with children and adults from a wide variety of backgrounds. Mike has worked at other treatment facilities to implement social norming and skill building groups with adolescents dealing with ASD and PDD.
Mike’s emphasis at Creative Perspectives, Inc. is to offer support to the families of individuals with ASD as well as to conduct individually specialized therapy for adolescents and adults on the spectrum. It is the passion and goal of Mike to help both individuals that are on the spectrum and those whom are not to have a better understanding of themselves and others through a variety of therapeutic approaches.
